Casetify has unveiled a range of cases and screen protectors for the Galaxy Z Fold8<\/b>, Fold8 Ultra<\/b> and Flip8<\/b>.<\/p>\n
The centrepiece of the new range is the Impact Magnetic Case<\/b>, which introduces Casetify\u2019s first smooth-gliding hinge cover. It is designed to encase the hinge without getting in the way when the phone is opened or closed, while its EcoShock material and raised bezels provide drop protection from heights of up to 1.2m. The case also supports wireless charging and magnetic accessories.<\/p>\n
That lack of added bulk is key for the new Fold8. As I noted in my recent feature, Samsung\u2019s new foldable is lighter, wider and much easier to carry than the Fold8 Ultra. It can even fit comfortably into most pockets. The last thing it needs, then, is an oversized case undoing much of what makes its new shape appealing.<\/p>\n Image: Casetify<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n The Fold8 Ultra is a different proposition, however. It is the larger and more feature-packed model, with better cameras and more screen space, while the Flip8 remains the smallest option for those who would rather have a phone that folds down instead of opening into a small tablet. Casetify\u2019s range covers all three.<\/p>\n Alongside the case, Casetify has introduced an Impact HD Screen Protector<\/b> made from 9H tempered glass, complete with anti-fingerprint and antimicrobial coatings. There is also an Impact Camera Lens Protector<\/b>, which the company says has been designed to avoid the hazing caused by a phone\u2019s flash.<\/p>\n Prices for the new Galaxy Z series accessories range from S$28 to S$99.
