A 22-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital after a collision<\/a> with a car near Lakeside Primary School in Jurong on July 28.<\/p>\n Stomper Asher<\/strong>, who was on a bus passing the scene shortly after the accident<\/a>, shared photos and a video of the scene.<\/p>\n The footage shows a motorcycle lying on its side, in front of a white car stopped near road markings.<\/p>\n A man is spotted sitting on the road beside the motorcycle while a woman using her mobile phone stands nearby. A dislodged licence plate can also be seen lying on the road.<\/p>\n The Stomper said the collision appeared to have occurred about five minutes before his bus arrived.<\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t see how it happened,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cThe bus had to wait for a while because the lady\u2019s car was blocking the bus, but she moved it eventually.\u201d<\/p>\n In response to Stomp\u2019s queries, the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to the accident involving a car and a motorcycle along Corporation Road towards Bulim Road at about 6.20pm.<\/p>\n The 22-year-old motorcyclist was conveyed conscious to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.<\/p>\n \u201cA 46-year-old female car driver is assisting with investigations,\u201d a police spokesperson said.<\/p>\n Police investigations are ongoing.<\/p>\n Have something to say?
