It&#8217;s brutal. A very bloody affair,&#8221; he said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond his directorial projects, Cregger appeared in countless sketches during his comedy days with Whitest Kids &#8216;U Know, and some of them were very violent. In &#8220;Sniper Business,&#8221; Cregger&#8217;s character witnesses an intern getting shot through the eye with a sniper rifle. In the &#8220;Gallon of PCP&#8221; sketch, Cregger plays a character whose girlfriend only very recently got beheaded by a drug dealer. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"RESIDENT EVIL \u2013 Official Trailer (4K)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mNd1gb19A-c?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also in the interview, Cregger once again mentioned how he never sought out to make a Resident Evil movie that fleshed out more of the Resident Evil lore or explain in more detail how the T-virus works. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;This movie is about one dude&#8217;s journey on foot, fighting monsters. I don&#8217;t give a f**k about checking boxes,&#8221; he said. &#8220;All I cared about was just telling a fun story. [One in which] we step on the gas at about eight minutes in and never take our foot off the floor.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Resident Evil movie releases on September 18. It stars Austin Abrams as Bryan, a medical courier who is sent to a hospital in Raccoon City.
