SINGAPORE \u2013 A former Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) captain was jailed for 21 months and two weeks on July 29, after admitting to cheating nearly $87,000 from<\/span><\/a> <\/span><\/a>five colleagues and vaping<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n Benjamin Song Yong Pang, 38, was also fined $6,000. He pleaded guilty to five cheating charges and four vape-related charges, including possession of vaping devices.<\/p>\n He has since made full restitution to his victims, many of whom were his subordinates.<\/p>\n Court documents show that between 2011 and 2018, the former SAF captain incurred significant amounts of credit card debt from his patronage of Thai clubs and KTVs.
