His works have been translated and published in more than 40 countries and territories and widely adapted for film and television.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">A statement posted on Higashino\u2019s X account said that the author\u2019s \u201cpublished works, from his debut novel <em data-qa=\"ContentSchemaRender-defaultRenderMapFunctions-Component\" class=\"css-1mniedq ex3nmsa15\">After School<\/em>, released in September 1985, to his latest book <em data-qa=\"ContentSchemaRender-defaultRenderMapFunctions-Component\" class=\"css-1mniedq ex3nmsa15\">Eternal Memory<\/em>, scheduled for release on August 5, 2026, total 106 books.
