\u201cI took visual arts and history, and I learned Photoshop just so I could personalise the cards for the online game Game of Heroes: Three Kingdoms<\/em>,\u201d recalls the 31-year-old product designer of his student days. (Three Kingdoms<\/em> was an online card-strategy game popular in Hong Kong in the 2000s in which players were assigned a historical character that could be personalised.)<\/p>\n

Today, Lee channels his creativity into ChiQSinTV (\u201ccrazy TV\u201d in Cantonese) on Instagram and YouTube. He opened his Instagram account in April, and at the time of writing, it has 37,500 followers.<\/p>\n

His most popular content sees him reimagining the Harry Potter film series with Cantopop idols or beloved characters from Hong Kong movies like Young and Dangerous<\/em><\/span> (1996).<\/div>\n

\u201cIt takes three days of locking myself in my room after work to make an episode,\u201d Lee says. Each episode lasts about a minute and a half.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe most frequently asked question in my comments section is whether or not what I do violates copyright law,\u201d Lee says. \u201cI\u2019ve done some research, and as long as I\u2019m not making money from the content, then it\u2019s OK.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
