And for Leon, that apparently means banging his head to the Seattle Sound.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">While he didn\u2019t \u201cthink too much about it\u201d while recording for Resident Evil 2, Apostolides says he listened to a lot of Nirvana at the time, saying their \u201cgrunge, rock energy was good for younger Leon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">He described Alice in Chains as a \u201chuge\u201d inspiration for how he handled Leon in Resident Evil 4, specifically naming songs like Them Bones and Would, as well as music from the group\u2019s later albums like The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here. (Yes, that\u2019s the album\u2019s real name, and it\u2019s fantastic. I was using a lot in that song \u2018Orion.\u2019 That is my favorite song of all time. \u2026I had that in my head. It\u2019s just such a heavy riff, and there\u2019s so much behind that song about why they wrote it, how they wrote it. I just love it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Fans are, predictably, going gaga over this information, which is just the latest tidbit from Apostolides about his time playing Leon.
