The company added that the decision was not imposed solely by parent company OPPO, nor was it made independently by OnePlus. Instead, it described the move as part of a broader global product strategy.

“Users are at the heart of all we do,” OnePlus said during the briefing. “The right brand does the right thing in the right market,” the company noted, suggesting that future investments will be concentrated in markets where the brand believes it can compete more effectively.

While OnePlus will stop selling new products in North America and Europe, existing customers will continue to receive software updates, security patches, after-sales support, and warranty services. OPPO also confirmed it will continue operating in those regions.

OnePlus has not disclosed which regions will become its primary focus following the restructuring, although Asia is widely expected to remain one of its strongest growth markets. The company has historically enjoyed greater market share and brand recognition in India, which it says is a priority market.

The decision also reflects the increasingly challenging smartphone landscape. Slower upgrade cycles, rising component costs and fierce competition from Apple, Samsung, and larger Chinese rivals have made it harder for smaller premium brands to sustain operations.

For now, OnePlus insists the move is a strategic realignment rather than the beginning of a broader withdrawal. Nevertheless, its departure from two of the world’s largest smartphone markets inevitably raises questions about its global ambition. Industry analysts will be watching closely to see whether today’s restructuring is an isolated move or the first step in a much broader reshaping of the OnePlus business.

Source: Android Authority

Just months after dismissing speculation that it was winding down operations, OnePlus has confirmed that it will withdraw from North America and Europe, marking one…

[32
5673,496,26668,289,1141
post-69377","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-tech-gadgets-reviews","tag-america","tag-europe","tag-exits","tag-north","tag-oneplus","wpcat-32-id
["GET
