SEGA has also committed to supporting RTX Spark with future games, although no other titles for the platform has been named just yet.

For NVIDIA, landing a publisher such as SEGA is an important step towards proving that RTX Spark will be more than an AI-focused productivity platform. When it was introduced at Computex 2026, NVIDIA pitched the superchip as a foundation for slim Windows laptops and compact desktop PCs capable of handling AI development, creative workloads and gaming within a single system.

What is the RTX Spark?

RTX Spark pairs a 20-core NVIDIA Grace CPU with a Blackwell-based GPU containing 6,144 CUDA cores, connected through the company’s NVLink-C2C interconnect. It supports up to 128GB of unified memory and delivers as much as one petaflop of AI performance, while NVIDIA claims that systems can run AAA games at 1440p and more than 100 frames per second with technologies such as ray tracing, DLSS and Reflex.

Those claims will eventually need to be tested on actual retail hardware, but Virtua Fighter Crossroads gives NVIDIA a recognisable title with which to demonstrate the gaming side of the platform. The new fighting game will be able to tap into NVIDIA’s ray tracing, DLSS and AI technologies, although specific features and performance targets have yet to be disclosed.

There is also a neat sense of history behind the announcement. NVIDIA’s relationship with SEGA stretches back to its early years, when its first commercial chip, the NV1, was used to power the original Virtua Fighter on PC. Three decades later, a new Virtua Fighter is again being used to introduce an NVIDIA computing platform to gamers.

NVIDIA made the announcement alongside SEGA at the GiGO Akihabara 3, and the location cannot be more deliberate. It was after all, the former SEGA Akihabara Arcade.

Availability

RTX Spark laptops and compact desktops are scheduled to begin arriving later in 2026 from manufacturers including ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and MSI. Acer and Gigabyte systems are expected to follow.

SEGA’s upcoming Virtua Fighter Crossroads will be heading to PCs powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark, making it one of the first major games confirmed for…

[32
2565,613,24417,3444,360,5667,1050,3803,7643,24416
post-69216","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-tech-gadgets-reviews","tag-circle","tag-coming","tag-crossroads","tag-fighter","tag-full","tag-nvidia","tag-rtx","tag-sega","tag-spark","tag-virtua","wpcat-32-id
["GET
