Several netizens sided with the driver.<\/p>\n

\u201cTissues included in your BOOKING? LOL,\u201d yet another questioned Fussi sarcastically.<\/p>\n
One netizen even thought she was making too big a deal of it. \u201cEvent like this I would just laugh it off,\u201d said the commenter.<\/p>\n
Another said unkindly: \u201cYou should take premium service.\u201d Yet another said: \u201cNothing is free in Singapore.\u201d<\/p>\n
One TikToker even thought she was being stingy: \u201cLife is hard now in Singapore. I always tip the drivers. No need for them to ask me to tip them.\u201d<\/p>\n
But there were comments in Fussi\u2019s defence.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ll find the comments here a worse experience,\u201d said a TikToker. Fussi replied: \u201cSome people have no empathy or kindness and it shows.\u201d<\/p>\n
A TikTok user who claimed to be a public-hire vehicle driver chimed in: \u201cI have offered tissues to strangers regardless dry or wet and sure it came handy. Nope, never charge at all.\u201d Another netizen said: \u201cThe Grab driver should install a vending machine in his car.\u201d<\/p>\n
Several netizens were aghast at the driver\u2019s audacity to lock the car doors.<\/p>\n
\u201cLocking the doors is crazy,\u201d said one.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t understand all the comments that belittle her experience and give her advice like bring her own tissue. Being locked in a car is a violation and can be scary. That is the main thing about her story \u2014 not being given a choice to pay for the wet tissue and locking her in,\u201d another said.<\/p>\n
