{"id":67303,"date":"2026-07-09T11:22:47","date_gmt":"2026-07-09T03:22:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=67303"},"modified":"2026-07-09T11:22:47","modified_gmt":"2026-07-09T03:22:47","slug":"8-taken-to-hospital-including-2-with-minor-burn-injuries-after-fire-in-tuas-dormitory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=67303","title":{"rendered":"8 taken to hospital, including 2 with minor burn injuries, after fire in Tuas dormitory"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">SINGAPORE \u2013 <!-- -->Eight people were taken to hospital after a fire broke out at a dormitory in Tuas on July 8, with two sustaining minor burn injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The fire involved items placed at the entrance of a dormitory unit on the second floor at 1 Tuas Avenue 8, said the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), who was alerted to the fire at 11.40am on July 8.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-primary font-tertiary-body-baseline-regular\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The SCDF extinguished the fire with a hose reel.
