Heavy rain is expected over many areas of Singapore on Wednesday (July 8) evening.<\/p>\n
In a weather update issued at 7.30pm, the National Environment Agency (NEA) said it expects thundery showers over many areas in the evening, and cloudy thereafter.<\/p>\n
It has also forecast similar weather conditions in the late morning and early afternoon on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Separately, Singapore’s national water agency PUB announced on its Telegram channel that heavy rain is forecast from 8pm to 9pm.<\/p>\n
Checks on Meteorological Service Singapore’s live weather radar at 7.55pm show rain clouds approaching from the southwestern part of Singapore, in vicinity of Jurong Island.<\/p>\n
Earlier on Wednesday morning, a heavy rain alert was also issued by the agencies at around 8.24am. It was subsequently lifted at 9am.<\/p>\n
