The reveal promises to bring stars William Shatner (Kirk) and Leonard Nimoy (Spock) back to the big screen starting September 4, 2026, with tickets for the classic &#8217;80s film on sale now.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">It appears the Star Trek 4 re-release will be limited to UK cinemas upon its premiere later this year. It all comes to a head on Star Trek Day, September 8.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">&#8220;Using a Klingon ship, the crew of the Enterprise returns to 1980s Earth to retrieve two whales that may save the planet from destruction in their own era,&#8221; an official description for Star Trek 4 says.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Ferguson did his part to celebrate the franchise with Star Trek 4 but was also responsible for handling posters for the Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan and Star Trek 3: The Search for Spock anniversary releases, too.
