\u201cYou\u2019ve kept the bottles in front of us. Why? Is this a bar?\u201d asks the passenger.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is mineral water,\u201d replies the driver.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis bottle is a whisky bottle,\u201d notes the passenger.<\/p>\n
\u201cYa, so,\u201d<\/p>\n
The passenger then accuses the driver of throwing the bottle at him while the driver insists he threw it on the floor. When the passenger threatens to call the police, the driver challenges him to do so.<\/p>\n
A female voice can also be heard saying: \u201cPlease, both of you.\u201d<\/p>\n
The video ends with the driver yelling: \u201cI never find trouble with you, why you find trouble with me? Why you pissing me off?\u201d<\/p>\n
From the video, the argument appears to have stemmed from the passenger taking umbrage at the driver displaying a bottle of whisky in the presence of his young daughter.<\/p>\n
Netizens split over who was at fault<\/h2>\n
The video has garnered over 330,000 views, 1,500 reactions, and 585 comments.<\/p>\n
Some netizens were confused as to what the fuss was about.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo head, no tail. Until now I question mark about this video?\u201d said a Facebook user. \u201cIt\u2019s a very complex situation over a whisky bottle,\u201d another said.<\/p>\n
One netizen suggested the whisky was there for the driver\u2019s passengers.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe is providing free drinks plus whisky. Just because he placed a whisky bottle in the front doesn\u2019t mean your daughter has to drink it. It\u2019s his van, and he has the right to keep it there,\u201d said the netizen.<\/p>\n
Another netizen suggested the video was edited to put the driver in a bad light. \u201cThe one recording is clearly just showing what they wanna show,\u201d said the Facebook user.<\/p>\n
However, some felt that the driver should not have had a bottle of liquor there in the first place.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhy is there a whisky bottle in the first place? Asking for trouble. I see whisky in a taxi or private-hire vehicle, I\u2019ll be questioning, too,\u201d said a netizen.<\/p>\n
Others even suggested that the driver was drink-driving.<\/p>\n
\u201cDrinking and driving, bro you are done bro,\u201d said a Facebook user. \u201cDrunk driver with whisky bottle still barking to passenger,\u201d another said.<\/p>\n
But others disagreed with the assumption.<\/p>\n
\u201cUnless proven, cannot assume,\u201d said a netizen. \u201cYou put him on a breathalyser test and he tested positive?\u201d another demanded.<\/p>\n
Nevertheless, some felt that the driver\u2019s reaction was excessive.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo matter what the problem is, the Singapore private minibus driver shouldn\u2019t behave like a hooligan to the family with children around,\u201d said a netizen.<\/p>\n
There were also netizens who felt that the passenger was being unreasonable.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe is not your driver, don\u2019t demand,\u201d said one. \u201cSelf-entitled passenger spotted!\u201d another said.<\/p>\n
One netizen saw the funny side to the incident, joking: \u201cIf both could calm down and drink whisky together, problem solved.\u201d<\/p>\n
