However, A.Bento stands out as a favourite.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The menu is a delightful showcase of Taiwanese comfort food like crispy chicken nuggets, hearty pork ragu on rice, three-cup chicken, and the ever-popular braised beef noodles in soup with a spicy kick.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Despite the authentic Taiwanese flavours at A.Bento, chef and owner Aaron Jian Zhou, 32, actually hails from Wenzhou, in mainland China\u2019s Zhejiang province, about 320 kilometres from Taiwan.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Jian\u2019s introduction to Taiwanese cuisine came courtesy of a restaurateur uncle on his father\u2019s side, who introduced him to snacks such as deep-fried chicken nuggets, Taiwanese sausages and rice rolls, which he would take for breakfast during his school days.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">\u201cTaiwanese food is comfort food; everyone likes it,\u201d Jian says.<\/p>\n<div class=\"image-inline-container e1a5rv550 css-1llrc1m e1yqhwb40\" data-qa=\"Component-renderMap-StyledDiv\">\n<div class=\"image-inline caption e1fvabeq0 css-19sk4h4 ea9pn0s0\" data-qa=\"Component-Container\">\n<figure class=\"image-inline caption ea9pn0s1 css-1qeofuq e1gf69pb0\" data-qa=\"ArticleImage-ArticleImageContainer\">\n<div data-qa=\"ArticleImage-handleRenderImage-ImageContainer\" class=\"css-bjn8wh e1gf69pb3\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Braised lion\u2019s head meatballs with soup and appetisers at A.Bento.
