There comes a point in every gaming setup where one has to ask: how much RGB is enough RGB? For Razer, the answer seems to be: not quite yet.<\/p>\n
The gaming company has announced the Razer Soma Chroma<\/b>, a wireless RGB gaming chair that brings reactive Razer Chroma lighting to the one part of your battlestation that, until now, has mostly remained passive. It is the first model in Razer\u2019s new Soma line of immersive gaming chairs, and also Razer\u2019s first RGB gaming chair \u2013 even if it has appeared as a concept before.<\/p>\n Photo: Razer<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n Photo: Razer<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n Razer\u2019s idea here is not simply that the Soma Chroma lights up, but that it can also react to what is happening on screen in real time, with support for custom effects across more than 300 integrated games<\/b>, 16.8 million colours<\/b> and 10 lighting presets<\/b> through Razer Synapse. In other words, your Synapse-compatible keyboard, mouse, speakers and now chair can all glow in sync when the game demands it.<\/p>\n This is possible as the chair connects to PCs over 2.4GHz and supports Bluetooth for mobile devices. A built-in control panel lets you switch between PC and mobile modes, cycle through lighting effects and adjust brightness directly from the chair. Power is handled over USB-C, either through a wall outlet or a standard power bank (similar to how DXRacer\u2019s Martian Pro is powered).<\/p>\n Additionally, the Soma Chroma features a built-in ergonomic lumbar arch, dual-density cold-cured foam cushioning, a reinforced steel frame, a five-star steel wheelbase and recline of up to 155 degrees.<\/p>\n The Razer Soma Chroma is now available on Razer\u2019s e-store and Razer Stores for S$799<\/b>.
