Choosing an alternative to somewhere like Dubrovnik can help ease pressure, but we also need to avoid simply shifting the problem elsewhere.\u201d<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">He recommends that holidaymakers ensure they also spend locally \u2013 as opposed to just inside a hotel, or on a cruise ship \u2013 and avoid short-term rentals, which can have a negative impact on housing availability and affordability to local people.
