Earlier this year, we saw the launch of the Tesla Model Y L, and word on the street is that BYD\u2019s three-row Sealion 8 is coming. Today, however, we have the launch of Mercedes-Benz\u2019s new GLB. It also has a 58kWh battery and a claimed WLTP range of 453km. The maximum charging rate is 200kW, which Mercedes says is enough to add around 140km of range in 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">The GLB250+ has a higher power output of <b>200kW (268hp)<\/b>. However, maximum torque is unchanged at 335nm. 0-100km\/h takes just 7.4 seconds, and it has a larger 85kWh battery that\u2019s good for a claimed WLTP range of 674km. It charges faster, too. Both variants will get the <b>MBUX Superscreen<\/b>, which means a 10.2-inch driver\u2019s display and a 14-inch centre infotainment display. The GLB250+ also gets an additional passenger-side display for the full widescreen experience.\u00a0Panoramic roofs are standard on both cars.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">For folks who require the flexibility of the internal combustion engine, Mercedes-Benz says hybrid versions of the GLB will be available later this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"pricing-and-availability\" class=\"_subHeading1_1k87u_111 _base_1k87u_1\">Pricing and availability<\/h2>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">The Mercedes-Benz GLB200 electric Progress and GLB250+ electric AMG Line Sport are both available now. Prices of the GLB200 start at<b> S$280,000<\/b>, while prices of the more powerful and longer range GLB250+ start at <b>S$310,888<\/b>.
