Glass bottles and cigarette butts can also be seen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">\u201cIt appears that you can litter at Boon Lay MRT station without consequences,\u201d the user said in the title of the post.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">NEA said it will continue<!-- --> <!-- -->efforts to educate members of the public to exercise social responsibility and take ownership of keeping shared spaces clean.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The agency also encouraged the public to report public health offences through the OneService app.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Litterbugs can be fined up to <!-- -->$2,000<!-- --> for a first-time offence. Repeat offenders can be fined up to <!-- -->$4,000 for the second conviction, and $10,000 for the third and subsequent convictions<!-- -->.
