href=\"https:\/\/www.mas.gov.sg\/bonds-and-bills\/auctions-and-issuance-calendar\/auction-t-bill?issue_code=BS26112T&amp;issue_date=2026-06-23\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Singapore T-bill auction (BS26112T)<\/a> will be on 18 June.<\/p>\n<p>In the previous auction on 4 June, the <a href=\"https:\/\/growbeansprout.com\/t-bill-allotment-4-june-2026\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cut-off yield for the 6-month Singapore T-bill climbed to 1.48%<\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/growbeansprout.com\/t-bill-allotment-21-may-2026\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the yield of 1.45% in the previous auction on 21 May<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This represents the highest 6-month T-bill yield so far in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>With the rise in cut-off yield, the <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/BeansproutSG\">Beansprout community<\/a> has been discussing whether we could see a further rebound in the Singapore T-bill yield.<\/p>\n<p><span yield remains elevated\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p>The 10-year US government bond yield was at <a href=\"https:\/\/growbeansprout.com\/quote\/us-10y-government-bond-yield\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">4.46% as of 12 June 2026<\/a>, close to its level of 4.50% two weeks ago.<\/p>\n<p>The upward pressure on US government bond yields has eased following signs of de-escalation in Middle East tensions, which helped reduce concerns over a potential oil price shock and its impact on inflation.<\/p>\n<p>However, yields remained elevated as investors continued to grapple with persistent inflation pressures, a resilient US economy, and concerns over the country&#8217;s fiscal deficit and growing government debt burden.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>These factors have reinforced 2.11% as of 12 June 2026, slightly higher from 2.05% two weeks ago.<\/p>\n<p>This follows the trend of elevated US government bond yields in recent weeks.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>You can <a Singapore government bonds.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eservices.mas.gov.sg\/statistics\/masbills\/MASBillsAuctions.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cut-off yield was at 1.53%<\/a> in the auction on 9 June 2026, <span style=\"background-color:rgb(255,255,255);color:rgb(18,18,18);\">much higher than the<\/span> cut-off yield of 1.40% on 3 June.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"image\"><img lower than the <a href=\"https:\/\/growbeansprout.com\/t-bill-allotment-4-june-2026\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">previous auction size of $8.5 billion on 4 June<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div auction on 4 June from S$18.0 billion in the auction on 21 May.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If demand falls further in the upcoming auction, this may help to offset the smaller issuance size in the upcoming id=\"what-would-beansprout-do?\">What would Beansprout do?<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"background-color:white;\">The closing yield on the 6-month Singapore T-bill was at 1.46% on 11 June 2026<strong>,<\/strong><\/span> close to the cut-off yield in the previous auction.<\/p>\n<p>However, we have seen a jump in the 3-month MAS bill, while US government bond yields remain elevated.<\/p>\n<p>This may mean that the 6-month Singapore T-bill yield may stay supported, even as concerns on the Middle East conflict start to ease.<\/p>\n<div class=\"raw-html-embed\"><iframe 6-month Singapore T-bill of 1.46% is slightly below the <a href=\"https:\/\/growbeansprout.com\/insights\/savings\/singapore-best-fixed-deposit-rate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">best 6-month fixed deposit rate of 1.50% p.a.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>While banks have been cutting the interest rates on savings accounts, we were still able to find<a href=\"https:\/\/growbeansprout.com\/insights\/savings\/best-savings-accounts-singapore\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> savings accounts in Singapore that offer an interest rate of above 1.46%
