{"id":60432,"date":"2026-06-13T16:31:02","date_gmt":"2026-06-13T08:31:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=60432"},"modified":"2026-06-13T16:31:02","modified_gmt":"2026-06-13T08:31:02","slug":"motorcyclist-on-way-to-work-in-spore-dies-after-being-thrown-off-bridge-in-jb-expressway-accident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=60432","title":{"rendered":"Motorcyclist on way to work in S\u2019pore dies after being thrown off bridge in JB expressway accident"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">JOHOR BAHRU \u2013 A 27-year-old motorcyclist has been killed after he was thrown off a bridge following a collision on Malaysia\u2019s North-South Expressway (NSE).<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Johor Bahru South police chief Raub Selamat said the accident occurred at about 8am on June 11, at the 1.5km mark of the NSE heading towards the city centre.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">He said road conditions were wet due to rain and traffic was moving slowly at the time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Raub said the victim, who worked as a storekeeper in Singapore, was on his way to work when another motorcycle ridden by a 27-year-old man crashed into him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">He said the victim was thrown from his motorcycle and fell off the bridge onto Johor Bahru\u2019s Pasir Gudang Highway below.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">\u201cThe victim suffered severe head injuries and a fractured left leg.
