From international stars to highly anticipated premieres by local talent, Hong Kong\u2019s diverse arts scene has plenty to offer in the second half of 2026. Here is our list of must-see cultural performances and events.<\/p>\n

1. Dog Rising<\/h3>\n

\u201cMind-bending\u201d and \u201chypnotic\u201d are some of the words used to describe the work of Montreal-based polymath choreographer-musician-actor Clara Furey. As the grand finale of this year\u2019s French May Arts Festival, her electrifying contemporary dance piece Dog Rising<\/em> explores the mysterious connection between human bodies and the rhythms of nature.<\/p>\n

2. Concerto for Chromatic Harmonica, Jazz Piano and Orchestra<\/h3>\n

The Hong Kong Sinfonietta will perform a showcase of unconventional classical instruments. Book-ended by two more traditional symphonies by Haydn and Beethoven, the main draw is the world premiere of Time (in-)Linear<\/em>, an original concerto from Hong Kong composer Alice Yeung, featuring jazz pianist Daniel Chu and harmonica superstar Cy Leo as dual soloists.<\/p>\n

3. Cloud Gate: Lunar Halo<\/h3>\n

It has been seven years since Taiwan\u2019s legendary dance company Cloud Gate last performed in Hong Kong, so naturally, there is plenty of excitement ahead of Lunar Halo.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
