At Computex 2026, Gigabyte unveiled its flagship gaming laptop, the Aorus Master 16<\/b>, and it\u2019s packed with the latest best and whistles from AMD and NVIDIA.<\/p>\n
The new Aorus Master 16 combines AMD\u2019s latest and greatest Ryzen 9 9955HX3D<\/b> mobile processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU<\/b>. The gaming system is also one of the first gaming laptops to pair AMD\u2019s flagship mobile X3D processor with NVIDIA\u2019s highest-end Blackwell-based mobile graphics, and Gigabyte also claims the laptop is the \u201cslimmest gaming laptop\u201d powered by the Ryzen 9 9950X3D at 19mm <\/b>thick.<\/p>\n Photo: HWZ<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n To keep such power components cooled, the Aorus Master 16 is equipped with an upgraded Windforce Infinity EX cooling system<\/b>, which is rated to handle up to 230W of combined thermal dissipation to keep both the CPU and GPU running at their intended performance levels.<\/p>\n The headline component here is undoubtedly AMD\u2019s Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor. Built around AMD\u2019s 3D V-Cache technology, the chip features 16 cores and 32 threads, with boost clocks reaching up to 5.4GHz, and is pretty much the equivalent to the desktop Ryzen 9 9950X3D \u2013 except that it\u2019s limited to a 55W TDP. The RTX 5090 Laptop GPU on the other hand, can operate at up to 175W graphics power. Gigabyte claims the system can deliver up to 1,824 AI TOPS for AI-assisted workloads and content creation applications.<\/p>\n For display, the laptop features a 16-inch WQXGA OLED display<\/b> with a 240Hz refresh rate, DisplayHDR 1000 certification and full DCI-P3 colour coverage.
