Vietjet officially announced a new direct route connecting Nha Trang to Singapore at the Vietnam\u2013Singapore Tech Connect Forum 2026 on May 29. The new service further expands Vietjet\u2019s strategic network between Vietnam and one of Asia\u2019s leading aviation, financial and connectivity hubs. Earlier, in March 2025, Vietjet also announced its direct Singapore\u2013Phu Quoc route.
\nScheduled to commence on December 11, 2026, with four round-trip flights per week operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, the Nha Trang\u2013Singapore route will provide greater travel convenience for residents and visitors while creating new opportunities for international travelers to access Nha Trang, one of Asia\u2019s premier coastal destinations.

Air India Express starts Bengaluru-Phuket flights
\nAir India Express has commenced direct flights between Bengaluru and Phuket. This launch further expands Air India Express\u2019 footprint in Thailand, complementing the Bengaluru\u2013Bangkok service introduced in October last year. Air India Express operates close to 500 weekly flights from Bengaluru, offering direct connectivity to 31 domestic and 8 international destinations. This expansion is part of Air India Express\u2019 continued focus on strengthening international connectivity from key Indian metros to high-demand leisure destinations across Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
\nAir India Express was recently honoured as \u2018Airline of the Year\u2019 in both the Domestic and International categories at Bengaluru Airport\u2019s Pinnacle Awards. The airline also received the Domestic Connectivity Award at Wings India 2026, constituted by the Ministry of Civil Aviation in collaboration with the Airports Authority of India and FICCI, recognising its role in enhancing connectivity and expanding access to air travel across India.<\/p>\n
