Singapore\u2019s Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan visited North Korea from May 26 to 27, at the invitation of his counterpart, DPRK Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui. This marks his first visit to Pyongyang since 2018. The two ministers had “wide-ranging candid discussions” on regional and international issues, as well as developments on the Korean Peninsula, said the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) said in a statement. They also reaffirmed the longstanding \u201ccordial and friendly\u201d relations between Singapore and the DPRK.
