SINGAPORE \u2013 A man has died following an accident involving his van and a bus in Woodlands on May 20.<\/p>\n
In a media reply, the police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to the accident at Woodlands Avenue 3 towards Woodlands Square at 1.25pm that day.<\/p>\n
\u201cA person was found trapped in the driver\u2019s seat of a van,\u201d SCDF said, adding that he was rescued using hydraulic rescue equipment.<\/p>\n
The 54-year-old male van driver was taken unconscious to Woodlands Hospital, where he subsequently died.<\/p>\n
Police investigations are ongoing.<\/p>\n
