This includes requiring Face ID or Touch ID authentication before changing the Apple ID password, especially when the device is detected in an unfamiliar location.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">While there is no official timeline for the feature\u2019s rollout, 9to5Mac says references in Apple\u2019s code suggest the functionality is already under active development.
