Convicted child sex offender Amos Yee rated the assault outside a Suntec anime convention \u201ca 4 or 5\u201d out of 10 in severity, saying that he was \u201csurprised\u201d that he \u201crecovered pretty quickly\u201d.<\/p>\n
On May 9, a viral video showed Yee being attacked by an 18-year-old<\/a> after he allegedly attempted to enter Doujin Market<\/a>, an anime convention held at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.<\/p>\n The teenager was seen punching Yee\u2019s face repeatedly, and was later charged with assault and being a public nuisance.<\/a><\/p>\n Speaking to TikToker @zek3yg at Our Tampines Hub in a post on May 26,<\/a> Yee says that he felt \u201cfantastic\u201d despite the incident.<\/p>\n \u201cI was surprised by myself that I managed to recover pretty quickly,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n When asked to rate the force of the strikes on a scale of one to 10, Yee said they were \u201cprobably four or five\u201d and that it \u201cwasn\u2019t that big of a deal\u201d.<\/p>\n Zek3yg then points to @aroace_music \u2014 a TikToker who went viral for singing \u201cWe are Charlie Kirk\u201d<\/a> following Kirk\u2019s assassination in September 2025<\/a> \u2014 who was standing on Yee\u2019s right, asking what would happen if he had attacked Yee instead.<\/p>\n Yee replies that he \u201cwould do a much better job\u201d.<\/p>\n
