PlayStation Days of Play <\/b>is back on, and in case you missed out on it last year, it\u2019s a two-week period of new deals and content throughout the PlayStation platform. This means discounts on peripherals, games and PlayStation Plus, alongside new tournaments with prizes. And this year, it\u2019s running from 27 May to 10 June<\/b>.<\/p>\n The PlayStation VR2 is S$140 off until 10 June.<\/p>\n Image: Sony Interactive Entertainment.<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n Out of all the new discounts, the marquee deal would probably be the S$140 off a PlayStation VR2,<\/b> which now goes for S$509 (<\/b>U.P. S$649). Put in percentages, that\u2019s a 21% discount, and you can get in on that deal on Sony\u2019s store here \u2013 though it\u2019s currently on backorder.<\/p>\n Other deals include a plethora of PS5 controllers:<\/p>\n And finally, Sony\u2019s PlayStation audio gear is also getting its own discounts:<\/p>\n Unfortunately, the PS5 itself is not discounted \u2013 no surprise, we guess, given that price hikes for the consoles only kicked in earlier in May.<\/p>\n Ghost of Yotei is amongst the hundreds of titles on sale during Days of Play.<\/p>\n Image: Sony Interactive Entertainment.<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n Alongside the peripherals, you can also find deals on digital games via the PlayStation Store. There\u2019s over 700 games<\/b> that are going on sale, and those are just the full standalone games \u2013 if you include bundles, DLCs and add-ons, it totals to over 2,000 items discounted.<\/p>\n That\u2019s a lot, but the ones we want to highlight include familiar and acclaimed titles, alongside some newly released AAA games:<\/p>\n Again, though, the deals number in the thousands, so chances are you\u2019ll find a deal on that game you\u2019ve been thinking about trying out. And while all the games we listed above are for PS5, there\u2019s also over 500 PS4 titles (again, not including add-ons) on sale, so there\u2019s still lots to look at even if you haven\u2019t made the ninth-gen jump.<\/p>\n All three PlayStation Plus tiers will see discounts for 12-month subscriptions.<\/p>\n Image: Sony Interactive Entertainment<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n If you\u2019re not a PS Plus member already, or if you\u2019re looking to upgrade the tier that you\u2019re currently on, it might not be a bad idea to get in during the promotional period. 12-month subscriptions <\/b>are discounted across all three tiers of PS Plus:<\/p>\n It\u2019s important to note that there are no deals for the 1-month or 3-month subscriptions, however. While the list of games varies per region, for APAC (including Singapore), the games are:<\/p>\n Three titles (Gran Turismo 7, Astro Bot and Fortnite) will have their specific challenges operate on a global leaderboards system. The other six on the list will have regional 1v1 tournament challenges.\u00a0<\/p>\n For games with those 1v1 tournaments, you can view the ruleset and register for the tournament via Game Hub. Meanwhile, the specific rulesets for the three games with leaderboards can be found here. Prizes for the winners of each 1v1 tournament, and the global leaders for the Astro Bot and Gran Turismo 7 leaderboard-based competitions, are as follows:<\/p>\n The total approximate retail value of all four prizes are S$839.27.
