GOMO by Singtel has partnered with FairPrice Group (FPG) to launch FairPrice SIM plans, a set of co-branded SIM-only bundles that go on sale today at eight FairPrice Xtra outlets across Singapore. FPG says it\u2019s the first time a Singapore retailer has put its name on its own mobile plans, which is the kind of claim that sounds odd until you remember that grocers don\u2019t usually sell SIMs, and telcos don\u2019t usually share top billing with their supermarket of choice.<\/p>\n

The eight outlets carrying the new in-store booths are Ang Mo Kio Hub<\/b>, Jurong Point<\/b>, VivoCity<\/b>, Parkway Parade<\/b>, Hougang One<\/b>, NEX<\/b>, JEM<\/b>, and Changi Business Park<\/b>. Staff at each booth will help with plan selection, payment, and SIM activation. Customers can walk out with an eSIM activated in minutes or wait for a physical SIM to be delivered to their home.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s on offer<\/h2>\n

There are five no-contract plans on the Singtel 5G+ network. Each comes as either a one-month<\/b> or three-month<\/b> introductory bundle that reverts to a monthly rolling rate after the promo period. Pricing details for the three-month intro bundles are included below, but please note that the data bundles apply to the monthly plan allocations<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The S$35 Unlimited 5G+ (Worldwide) Plan<\/b> is the line worth squinting at. Most SIM-only plans with proper worldwide roaming inclusion sit higher up the price ladder, often well above S$35, so if you genuinely use roaming, this is the one to compare against your current bill.<\/p>\n

Vivek Mehendiratta<\/b>, Chief Customer Officer, Consumer at Singtel Singapore, framed the launch in his own way. \u201cMobile connectivity today is as essential as everyday groceries and household necessities,\u201d he said. That\u2019s a sentence that lands differently when you can now actually buy both in the same trolley.<\/p>\n

Trevor Ng<\/b>, Managing Director, Hypermarket at FairPrice Group, said the FairPrice Xtra stores have always been \u201cvibrant, one-stop destinations\u201d for families, and that the SIM plans fit into that pitch by making mobile connectivity part of a regular shop.<\/p>\n

The partnership isn\u2019t entirely new. Singtel and FPG started working together in July 2025 with roadshows at FairPrice Xtra outlets selling handsets and accessories. The FairPrice SIM plans extend that arrangement to the connectivity itself.<\/p>\n

Exclusive offers and payment options including CDC vouchers and Linkpoints<\/h2>\n

The booths accept CDC vouchers as payment<\/b> for the plans, which is unusual for a mobile subscription and the kind of small detail that actually matters when households are looking to stretch every voucher. Buyers also earn Linkpoints through the FairPrice Group app<\/b> or by tapping their Link card at checkout, in the same way they would on a packet of rice.<\/p>\n

The launch leans on cautious consumer sentiment. NielsenIQ research shows Asia-Pacific consumers are focused on essential purchases and seeking value, which is corporate-speak for \u201ceveryone\u2019s checking the receipt twice\u201d.<\/p>\n
