Singapore authorities are investigating a Hong Kong principal after he was seen swearing at security guards during a student trip to the city state, with his secondary school saying sorry for the dispute that sparked \u201cpublic concern and unease\u201d.<\/p>\n
In response to queries from the South China Morning Post, Singapore police said on Sunday evening that they had received a report and that investigations were under way.<\/p>\n
Asked how the investigation could proceed given the suspect had already returned to Hong Kong, a spokesman for Singapore police said the relevant authorities were investigating the incident and might take appropriate action.<\/p>\n
He added that the possibility of Lee being barred from entering Singapore in future was a matter for the country\u2019s immigration authorities.<\/p>\n
San Wui Commercial Society Secondary School in Tuen Mun apologised on Sunday night for the incident last Friday involving its principal, Lee Cheuk-hing.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn the afternoon of May 22, 2026, an incident occurred during our school\u2019s Singapore exchange tour due to a parking dispute, causing public concern and unease,\u201d the institution\u2019s incorporated management committee said in a statement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
