An Admiralty resident was creeped out by what appeared to be two aunties allegedly spraying \u201cunknown substances\u201d on her doorstep as well as several other units.<\/p>\n
According to CCTV footage shared by Stomper Tan<\/strong>, the incident took place at Block 401 Admiralty Link on May 12 at 10.39pm.<\/p>\n The video shows two women \u2014 one in a striped t-shirt and one in a blue top \u2014 pacing outside two units.<\/p>\n The woman in blue \u2014 who appears to be holding a clear bottle \u2014 is seen bending over and apparently spraying its contents on the doorstep of both units.<\/p>\n The Stomper and her neighbour are not the only affected units. Tan claimed that the women did this \u201cto all front gates of all units\u201d.<\/p>\n According to Tan, this is the first time she has encountered such an incident and the women are strangers to her. To date, she has not managed to find out what the substance in the bottle was.<\/p>\n \u201cI do not feel safe as I do not know what is the substance they are spraying. It seems colourless,\u201d Tan said.<\/p>\n The Stomper subsequently reported the matter to the police and shared feedback via the OneService app.<\/p>\n In response to a Stomp query, the police confirmed that a report was lodged and investigations are ongoing.<\/p>\n When contacted, Sembawang Town Council said it was \u201cnot in a position to comment on the identities of the individuals involved or the circumstances surrounding the incident\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cAs the matter has been reported to the police, any investigations into the incident would be handled by the Singapore Police Force,\u201d the town council said, adding that it will continue to monitor the situation on the ground and render assistance where appropriate.<\/p>\n However, a pet owner has since come forward to clarify the incident.<\/p>\n Desiree, 28, said the women are actually volunteers who were helping to search for her lost dog, Teh O.<\/p>\n She added that the women were holding a container of pet food in hopes of luring Teh O.<\/p>\n Teh O, a male cocker spaniel, was last seen at Block 402 Admiralty Link on May 4 at around 1am, Stomp earlier reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThe volunteers were walking around the blocks to listen for his barks or scratching sounds at the doors in case he was inside,\u201d Desiree told Stomp on May 22.<\/p>\n \u201cThey did not spray any liquids whatsoever.\u201d<\/p>\n She also shared images showing that lost-dog posters at nearby blocks had been torn or taken down, prompting volunteers to go door-to-door in search of Teh O amid concerns that someone might have taken him.<\/p>\n PHOTOS: STOMP<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n However, Desiree said the volunteers have since stopped their search efforts after failing to locate Teh O.<\/p>\n Editor\u2019s note: This story has been updated with more information.<\/em><\/p>\n Have something to say?
