From players to the legendary Bernabeu stadium to fans, the documentary explores what it means to play for the club, the prestige and importance of the Champions League, and how players cope with the pressure.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Like most other Apple Immersive films, Real Madrid: The Weight of Greatness is beautifully shot. According to Apple, it\u2019s among the largest Apple Immersive productions to date. It was filmed over five days using more than 30 Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive cameras<\/b>. The results are stunning.\u00a0<\/p>\n The documentary features footage from the game with Juventus last year.<\/p>\n Photo: Apple<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n Thanks to Immersive Video, you get a perspective of Santiago Bernabeu that\u2019s never been seen before. The scale and sheer height of the stadium all become much more apparent and palpable, and you quickly see why the Bernabeu is such a special place.<\/p>\n Tying everything together is Real Madrid\u2019s game with Juventus in this year\u2019s Champions League football. I won\u2019t spoil the results for you if you don\u2019t already know the outcome, but what\u2019s more telling to me is that it gives viewers a glimpse of the possibilities of what live football with the Vision Pro could be like<\/b>.<\/p>\n Ultimately, the documentary doesn\u2019t provide new insights about the pressures of playing at one of the world\u2019s biggest and most successful footballs. However, it is stunningly beautiful to watch, and is a film that I think even diehard Barcelona supporters will appreciate.<\/p>\n Real Madrid: The Weight of Greatness debuts this Friday, 22 May<\/b>.
