As of recently, however, the company has begun refining its entry-level products in an attempt to make them more accessible, including a sub-S$500 QD-OLED display.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Looking at the brand\u2019s laptop lineup, Dell has split it into three categories: \u201cCore\u201d, \u201cVersatile\u201d and \u201cFlagship\u201d . And leading the \u201cCore\u201d category is the new <b>Alienware 15 <\/b>laptop.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"a-different-alienware-than-we-re-used-to\" class=\"_subHeading1_1k87u_111 _base_1k87u_1\">A different Alienware than we\u2019re used to<\/h2>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">If you were to compare it to the last time we reviewed a 15-inch Alienware laptop, 2019\u2019s Alienware m15 R2, the design has certainly taken a dramatic turn into normalcy. Though, you will still find an iridescent Alienware logo up front. Graphics are all team green, however; choices are between an <b>Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050<\/b>, <b>RTX 5050 <\/b>or an <b>RTX 5060 <\/b>as the top-tier option. The specs, it seems, are just \u2018normal\u2019 too.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Speaking of the GPUs, though, the Alienware 15\u2019s cooling setup changes slightly, depending on whether you go for an RTX 50-series chip or not. In particular, models that come with an RTX 5050 or 5060 also come equipped with Alienware\u2019s <b>Cryo-chamber <\/b>and <b>Cryo-tech<\/b>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">The former refers to how the chamber where the components rest are slightly elevated to increase airflow, while the latter is a branding term used to refer to more robust cooling mechanisms. The sRGB coverage isn\u2019t great, however, at 62.5%.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Memory options start from <b>8GB DDR5<\/b>, which we really wouldn\u2019t recommend anymore in this day and age. You can bump it up to <b>16 or 32GB<\/b>; unfortunately, Dell will only provide all memory options via a single stick. There are two SO-DIMM slots, though, so you can swap the default stick out for dual channel memory.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Storage comes in either a <b>512GB <\/b>or <b>1TB NVMe SSD<\/b>. Don\u2019t expect any dedicated GPUs here, though oddly enough, you\u2019ll be able to find newer CPUs compared to the Alienware, specifically <b>Intel Core Ultra Series 3<\/b> and<b> AMD Ryzen AI 400<\/b> processors. The displays are also notable, with OLED and QHD options.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"pricing-and-availability\" class=\"_subHeading1_1k87u_111 _base_1k87u_1\">Pricing and Availability<\/h2>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">The Alienware 15 is available now via Dell\u2019s website (Intel; AMD). The AMD variants will start at <b>S$2,208.99<\/b>, while the Intel versions start at <b>S$2,699<\/b>.\u00a0As for the regular Dell laptops, you can also find them on the company\u2019s website \u2013 14S here and 16S here.
