Below are some expected upgrades for Samsung\u2019s One UI 9.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\"><b>Samsung Notes<\/b>: Samsung is adding new pen line styles for more creative and decorative use.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\"><b>Contacts<\/b>: The Contacts app, where you save your contacts\u2019 details and numbers now gets Creative Studio compatibility built in; there\u2019s no need to switch apps anymore to create a personalised profile card.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\"><b>Quick Pane<\/b>l: The pull-down settings menu on Android phones now offers more customisation options. Users can adjust the size and layout of key settings like brightness, sound, media player, and more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\"><b>Accessibility<\/b>: The Mouse Key speed is now adjustable. TalkBack (formerly Voice Assistant, for the visually impaired) is now better integrated with Google\u2019s version of the same feature. Text Spotlight, which shows larger text in a floaty window, has been added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\"><b>Added protection<\/b>: One UI 9 now warns users when it detects a high-risk app, blocks its execution and installation, and recommends deleting the app and updating your security settings.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"who-can-take-part-in-the-beta-of-one-ui-9-\" class=\"_subHeading1_1k87u_111 _base_1k87u_1\">Who can take part in the beta of One UI 9?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">The beta programme is currently open only to Galaxy S26 series users in Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the U,K, and the U.S., starting from this week.
