Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II launches on May 21 \u2014 alongside the Warhammer Skulls video game showcase.<\/p>\n

Kasedo Games and Bulwark Studios\u2019 promising turn-based strategy game is set for release across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S. Its release date was announced as part of a new video showing two deployable leaders, the returning Lector-Dogmatis Videx of the Adeptus Mechanicus (Warhammer 40,000\u2019s tech priest faction) and the Necron Lord known as The Shield. Both factions are fully playable over multiple campaigns.<\/p>\n

Warhammer Skulls, meanwhile, is confirmed for May 21 at 6pm CEST \/ 5pm BST \/ 9am PT \/ 12pm ET, and will bring with it updates for the likes of Space Marine 2, Darktide, and Dawn of War IV, alongside new game announcements. Here\u2019s the list of Warhammer games set for an update at Warhammer Skulls:<\/p>\n

Right, so what can we expect? Space Marine 2 is due to release Patch 13 soon, so perhaps we\u2019ll get a release date or even a shadowdrop during the event. At the end of the teaser video we get a hint at something new coming to Fatshark\u2019s Darktide \u2014 a new playable class perhaps? AdMech maybe? A Servo-skull moves across the screen so quickly, it must be a hint at what’s to come.<\/p>\n

And then there\u2019s Dawn of War IV, which is ripe for a release date announcement. Conspicuous by its absence here is Creative Assembly\u2019s hotly anticipated Total War: Warhammer 40,000. Given it\u2019s already announced, you\u2019d imagine if there were an update for it set for Skulls, it would be on this list.<\/p>\n
