There\u2019s a new broadband provider in town. Well, sort of it. The latest name to throw its hat into the broadband ring is GOMO \u2013 the more affordable arm of Singtel\u2019s offerings.<\/p>\n
GOMO\u2019s broadband service will commence with two offerings: 10Gbps Value and 10Gbps Core<\/b>.<\/p>\n
The Value plan is a 24-month contract where customers pay\u00a0S$29.99\u00a0a\u00a0month<\/b>.\u00a0For that, you\u00a0get\u00a0a D-Link Wi-Fi 7 router,\u00a0free\u00a0installation and setup, free optical network terminal, and free NLT service activation.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Judging from the\u00a0promo\u00a0photos, the free D-Link router appears to be the DPN-BE7212GR<\/b>, a dual-band Wi-Fi 7 that offers data transfer rates of up to\u00a05,764Mbps\u00a0on its 5GHz\u00a0network. Crucially, it has two 10G WAN and LAN ports, which will allow users to fully maximise the 10Gbps plan.<\/p>\n
The Core plan is also S$29.99\u00a0a\u00a0month<\/b>, but\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0a shorter 12-month contract.\u00a0This plan doesn\u2019t\u00a0get you\u00a0a free router<\/b>, but you still\u00a0get\u00a0a free optical network terminal and free NLT service activation.\u00a0Both plans come with 24\/7 live chat support.<\/p>\n
Seeing that\u00a0there\u2019s no difference in the amount you pay, this plan is perhaps best suited for more advanced users who have their own router\u00a0that they\u00a0want to use.<\/p>\n
