Video games and their characters are no strangers to getting transformed into all sorts of collectible merchandise. Rock out to a mini Pok\u00e9mon jukebox. And if you’re a fan of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33<\/em>, take a gander at this life-sized replica of Gustave’s (RIP) prosthetic arm.<\/p>\n

To celebrate Expedition 33<\/em>‘s one-year anniversary, developer Sandfall Interactive and collectibles company Pure Arts have teamed up to make a limited-edition replica of Gustave’s arm. Measuring 19 inches long, it’s made from “premium polyresin with marbled finish and gold accents” and features a sculpted rock base decorated with red flowers.<\/p>\n

For $429, the Gustave arm can be yours. Maybe it will sit atop your bookshelf for all to see so when you have guests over they can all ask, “Why in the world do you have a robot arm up there?” Great conversation starter. Or perhaps you’ll want it nearby on your desk to use Gustave’s semi-closed hand as a cup holder. Or just carry it around with the hand sticking out of your backpack and enjoy the odd looks from strangers as you stroll down the sidewalk. You do you, friend.<\/p>\n

You’ll have plenty of time to decide how you want to display your Gustave arm, as it won’t ship until the third quarter of 2027.<\/p>\n

Gustave begins Clair Obscur: Expedition 33<\/em> as the game’s protagonist. He’s created the Lumina Converter, a machine that will help the expeditioners power up before their battle against the Paintress. Of course, he doesn’t get to make it to that battle \u2014 Gustave is iced at the end of Act One. He loses his arm in a battle against Renoir, and Maelle then uses the arm to adorn a memorial site for him a little later in the game. And now, that arm can be yours. In 2027. For $429.<\/p>\n

Expedition 33<\/em> is no stranger to very cool merch. Its soundtrack was pressed on vinyl, and the records look just as good as they sound. An art book is on the way later this year, and beautiful Expedition 33<\/em> art is also gracing the cover of the next edition of Lost in Cult’s Lock-On<\/em> gaming journal.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
