First you must look for a devilishly well-hidden scout, then discover the whereabouts of the Shard of Serenity, and then, just when you think you’ve completed the “Missing Knight” quest, you’ll realize you can’t pick it up.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Here’s how to get the “Missing Knight” quest, the scout’s location, the Shard of Serenity’s location, and perhaps most important of all; how to claim the Shard of Serenity in <\/strong>Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The task to “Bring the Shard of Serenity to Klastor” is part of the “Missing Knight<\/strong>” quest in Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era<\/em>‘s campaign. You will encounter this quest during the “Never-Ending Conflict<\/strong>” campaign mission, which is unlocked as soon as you’ve completed the first part of the campaign. As it’s possible to do other campaign missions first, you may not see this quest until your second, third, or even fourth campaign mission.<\/p>\n To find the scout<\/strong> at the start of the “Missing Knight” quest, move to the dark area west of the spawn point. Pass the red grassy area with the Fire Wand and interact with the yellow question mark:<\/p>\n Unfortunately, the scout is guarded by a fellow named Klastor<\/strong>, who will demand you bring him the Shard of Serenity. Although the artifact is located not far southeast of your current location, it’s fully enclosed by mountains and shrubbery, so you can’t simply walk over. Luckily, there are two ways to reach the Shard of Serenity<\/strong> in Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era<\/em>.<\/p>\n First, you can go back east (the way you came) and pass through the purple portal<\/strong>. The portal is located just north of the Fire Wand. This is the fastest option.<\/p>\n The second way to reach the Shard of Serenity, is to take the path south of the Shard and speak with the spy<\/strong>, who’ll inform you of a “secret path” leading up. Click on the Mercury on the right side, then continue picking up resources until you’re in the same area as the Shard of Serenity.<\/p>\n Congratulations, you’ve reached Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era<\/em>‘s Shard of Serenity artifact! There’s just one problem\u2026 You can’t pick it up.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If you click on the Shard of Serenity, you’ll get a hint: “Though its nature eludes you, an instinct deep within urges absolute stillness, as if only in perfect quiet can you claim the artifact.”<\/p>\n What this means, in short, is that you have to pass the night next to the artifact<\/strong>. Any adjacent tile will do.
