{"id":48892,"date":"2026-05-01T13:24:36","date_gmt":"2026-05-01T05:24:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=48892"},"modified":"2026-05-01T13:24:36","modified_gmt":"2026-05-01T05:24:36","slug":"singapores-ev-charging-hubs-expand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=48892","title":{"rendered":"Singapore&#8217;s EV charging hubs expand"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cassette.sphdigital.com.sg\/image\/hardwarezone\/2f8f88dbc5282ac31d99311ca3f5efbae6d972ca42612d89696af142d92f06bd\" \/><\/p>\n<div xmlns:default=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\">\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Another eight electric vehicle (EV) fast-charging hubs will be rolled out in Housing Board estates and carparks, with the first site expected to be ready in early 2027.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">The\u00a0sites \u2013 the second set\u00a0in\u00a0HDB estates and public carparks \u2013 were awarded to SP Mobility and ComfortDelGro Engie by EV-Electric Charging (EVe), the Land Transport Authority subsidiary responsible for EV charger deployment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">By the end of 2027, the plan is for every HDB town to have at least one fast-charging hub.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">EVe\u2019s chief executive Stephanie Tan said on April 29 that the roll-out of fast-charging hubs keeps pace with growing EV demand and adoption, adding that they complement the existing charging network to offer more convenience and flexibility to EV drivers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">The first set of six fast-charging hub sites was awarded in March to SP Mobility and Shell Singapore.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">The new fast-charging hubs will be located in the following\u00a0public\u00a0carparks:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"_listElement_wioo3_107\">\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\">Block 317\/328 Jurong East Street 31, operated by SP Mobility<\/li>\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\">Block 364A Tampines Street 34, operated by SP Mobility<\/li>\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\">Block 101-113 Woodlands Street 13, operated by SP Mobility<\/li>\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\">Block 643-646\/649-662\/665-667 Hougang Avenue 8, operated by ComfortDelGro Engie<\/li>\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\">Block 301\/319 Serangoon Avenue 2, operated by ComfortDelGro Engie<\/li>\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\">Block 753\/774 Yishun Street 72\/Avenue 3, operated by ComfortDelGro Engie<\/li>\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\">20 Jurong West Street 93 (Jurong West Sports Centre), operated by SP Mobility<\/li>\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\">21 Canberra Link (Bukit Canberra Sports Centre), operated by SP Mobility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Each location will have at least six or eight 50kW charging points.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Plugging in for 30 minutes will add around 100km of operating range to most popular EV models.
