class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Elegant Group is linked to Guangzhou-based conglomerate Grantral Group which has already acquired a number of retail malls in Singapore including <a data-yga=\"{\" ylinkelement=\"\" class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/www.straitstimes.com\/business\/companies-markets\/the-clementi-mall-sale-property-firm-elegant-group-and-the-family-behind-it\" Clementi<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The issue of a single owner controlling two malls within the same catchment area was raised in Parliament back in
