South Korea\u2019s drama schedule was loaded up in early spring and many of those shows remain on air. While not having quite as much firepower in store, May will still feature a wide variety of romance, action, thrills and comedy.<\/p>\n

1. My Royal Nemesis<\/h3>\n

Lead cast:<\/strong> Lim Ji-yeon, Heo Nam-jun<\/p>\n

Lim Ji-yeon<\/span> won acclaim for her searing turn in The Tale of Lady Ok<\/em><\/span>, and now she is back in period drama mode in May\u2019s first new K-drama offering, My Royal Nemesis<\/em>. That is until her character, Kang Dan-sim, is swept from her Joseon-era life and dropped into modern-day Seoul in this fantasy series.<\/div>\n

Back in Joseon, Dan-sim had a reputation as a devious villainess, and her actions eventually earned her a sentence of death by poison. When she wakes up, she finds herself in 2026, possessing the body of Shin Seo-ri, a nameless actress.<\/p>\n

Co-star Heo Nam-jun (A Hundred Memories<\/em><\/span>) plays Cha Se-gye, the ruthless heir of the powerful Chail Group known for his haughty behaviour. One day, Seo-ri, acting strangely due to being possessed, shows up in front of him. (SBS\/Netflix, May 8)<\/div>\n

2. The Legend of Kitchen Soldier<\/h3>\n
