Now in its 14th year, the publication is an annual independent guide to the best fine dining restaurants and bars in Hong Kong, Macau and the wider Greater Bay Area (GBA), as judged by the SCMP\u2019s dedicated food writers. Photo: Jocelyn Tam<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">With the guide reaching its 14th edition, content director Douglas Parkes, editor of the publication for the past three years, trumpeted <em data-qa=\"ContentSchemaRender-defaultRenderMapFunctions-Component\" class=\"css-1mniedq ex3nmsa15\">100 Top Tables<\/em>\u2019 ongoing success and continued growth, highlighting the inclusion of restaurants from the Greater Bay Area for the first time and its largest bar section to date.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">\u201cThe guide is the biggest it has ever been,\u201d he said. \u201cThis year, we have 160 establishments featured, making the name <em data-qa=\"ContentSchemaRender-defaultRenderMapFunctions-Component\" class=\"css-1mniedq ex3nmsa15\">100 Top Tables<\/em> less appropriate than ever. And those 160 establishments come from four Greater Bay Area cities. Owner Marcel Ngan said staying in Causeway Bay was a core priority: \u201cWe\u2019ve spent five years building a community here, and that\u2019s not something I wanted to walk away from.
