The pressure also feels generational \u2013 her mother breastfed her for just two weeks after a C-section and wasn\u2019t judged. \u201cMy mum\u2019s time was more forgiving,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n When she posts on her\u00a0<\/span>Instagram<\/span> about her challenges with sleep deprivation, going back to work and feeling overwhelmed, some mums are surprised. \u201cWhen you\u2019re in the limelight, people think you have everything sorted,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n She feels more empathy is needed \u2013 the willingness to sit with a mother\u2019s struggles instead of judging or giving advice.<\/span><\/p>\n Some commenters discount the intensity of having a newborn and brush off her experience \u2013 \u201cwe all went through it\u201d.
