Singtel rolls out new bundles, student and senior plans \u2013 here\u2019s what might actually matter.<\/p>\n
Singtel isn\u2019t resting on its laurels. Its latest mobile and broadband refresh is really about squeezing out more value and savings. Since March, the telco has been quietly rolling out a mix of new plans, bundles and tweaks across its services.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s quite a lot to take in, so let me break it down for you.<\/p>\n<\/p>\nPlans and Bundles List<\/p>\n

So\u2026what does this mean for you (or your parents)?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/section>\nSingtel\u2019s new Sweetch bundles explained<\/h2>\n The easiest place to see that is in its new Sweetch<\/b> bundles, which combine fibre broadband and 5G mobile under a single contract. This is clearly where Singtel is trying to get everything under one roof, and where you\u2019ll (supposedly) pay less for it. Making a sneak preview debut at the IT Show, the Sweetch bundle plans are now here to stay, and this is what you get:-<\/p>\n
Sweetch Bundle 5 ($60\/month)<\/b><\/p>\n\n5Gbps broadband<\/li>\n 5G+ Unlimited mobile plan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nSweetch Bundle 10 ($80\/month)<\/b><\/p>\n\n10Gbps broadband<\/li>\n Priority 5G+ Unlimited mobile plan<\/li>\n Unlimited Malaysia roaming<\/li>\n 13GB Asia roaming<\/li>\n 1,000 minutes and 1,000 SMS<\/li>\n Includes an additional mobile line<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nBoth bundles also come with a Wi-Fi 7 router, Cast.sg, a digital home line, and free installation. Singtel says this works out to roughly half the usual price if you were subscribing to each service separately. Whether that actually pans out depends on what you\u2019re already paying, but it\u2019s clearly meant to make bundling feel like the obvious move.<\/p>\n
Improved Singtel Circle rewards<\/h2>\n That also ties into an update to its Singtel Circle rewards programme, which now gives:<\/p>\n
\n10% off when you bundle two services<\/li>\n 15% off when you bundle three or more<\/li>\n Up to $200 in annual handset upgrade waivers
<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nTo be sure, these are not entirely new, but the higher discount does make it a bit more tempting if you\u2019re already using more than one Singtel service.<\/p>\n
Outside of bundles, there are a couple of smaller updates that might still catch your eye.

GOMO\u2019s $12 plan for students and NSFs
<\/h2>\n For one, GOMO now has a $12 student and NS plan:

\n400GB data (Singapore and Malaysia)<\/li>\n 12GB roaming across 18 destinations in Asia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nEssentially, this plan now comes with lots of data, low prices, and even enough roaming for when you fly to your favourite cities in Asia.

Senior plans get a bit more useful
<\/h2>\n Then there are the senior plans (for those aged 60 and above), which now span Singtel, GOMO and hi!, starting at $5 to $6 per month. Instead of being one-size-fits-all, these are now split a bit more clearly based on what you actually need.<\/p>\n
Singtel ($6\/month)<\/b><\/p>\n\n340GB local data, 6GB Malaysia roaming<\/li>\n Unlimited talktime, 100 SMS<\/li>\n Built-in Scam Protect<\/b> for calls and SMS<\/li>\nAccess to in-store help and guided support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThis is the one that feels more geared towards seniors who want that extra layer of protection, plus the option to walk into a shop and get help if needed.

GOMO ($6\/month)<\/b><\/p>\n\n400GB data<\/li>\n 6GB roaming across 18 destinations in Asia<\/li>\n Broader roaming coverage across APAC and beyond<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThis leans the other way \u2013 more data and wider roaming, which probably makes more sense for seniors who enjoy travelling around the region. Since everything is managed through the GOMO app, it\u2019s better suited for those who are a bit more comfortable handling things digitally, too.<\/p>\n
hi! ($5\/month)<\/b><\/p>\n\n400GB Regional data (SG, MY, ID, TH and HK)<\/li>\n 3GB APAC and Worldwide roaming<\/li>\n No contract, with data and talktime rolled over for up to six months<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThis is the simplest option of the three. No commitments, and a bit more flexibility if usage isn\u2019t consistent month to month.

So\u2026what does this mean for you (or your parents)?<\/h2>\n Basically, these plans are less about picking the cheapest option, and more about picking one that fits how you actually use your line. These used to feel quite basic, but they\u2019re a bit more tailored now \u2013 whether you care more about support, roaming, or just keeping things flexible.<\/p>\n
