Baby owl found perched on car under hot sun, woman carefully brings it home before NParks\u2019 arrival<\/h2>\n

A baby owl was spotted perched on a car in Bukit Batok<\/a> on a hot and sunny day.<\/p>\n

A kind-hearted resident eventually came to check on the owlet before contacting the National Parks Board (NParks) for help.<\/p>\n

She then placed the owlet in a box before bringing it home while waiting for NParks\u2019 arrival.<\/p>\n

Owlet spotted on top of car<\/h3>\n

MS News<\/em> spoke to the resident, Dyah, who informed that her husband, Fazrin, had initially spotted the owl last Saturday (18 April), perched on top of a car in the open-air carpark near Blk 213 Bukit Batok St 21 while waiting for a private-hire ride.<\/p>\n

It was almost noon, with the weather hovering around 32 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n

Upon closer inspection, Dyah\u2019s husband confirmed that \u201cit was indeed an owlet\u201d.<\/p>\n

However, as he had to leave, he messaged Dyah to contact NParks to report the matter.<\/p>\n

At the time, Dyah was home and headed downstairs with a bottle of water to check on the owlet.<\/p>\n

When she arrived, the owlet was still at the same location, while other members of the public walked past it.<\/p>\n

She proceeded to carefully approach the owlet, so as to not frighten it.<\/p>\n
