--smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 900\/1201;\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-721497\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Internet photo<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Speaking to Shin Min Daily News, his father said he received news of the accident at around 5am and rushed to Johor Bahru.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t<iframe id=\"answers-client-69e9668b030ab\" class=\"answers-client\" src=\"\" height=\"500\" loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>He shared that <a href=\"https:\/\/e-paper.sph.com.sg\/sm\/ccidist-replica-reader\/?epub=https:\/\/e-paper.sph.com.sg\/ccidist-ws\/sph\/sm\/issues\/13251\/&amp;page=1#\/pages\/3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">his son had travelled to Kuala Lumpur with about eight friends<\/a> and planned to stay for three to four days.<\/p>\n<p>However, he left the group midway to return to Singapore alone after being asked to cover a colleague\u2019s shift.<\/p>\n<p>Medical staff told the family that Mr Feng sustained multiple severe injuries, including a collapsed nasal bone, torn upper lip, bleeding from the mouth, nose, and ears, a fractured skull, and a caved-in chest.<\/p>\n<p>Broken ribs had also punctured his internal organs, causing extensive internal bleeding.<\/p>\n<h3>Was set to marry next month<\/h3>\n<p>Mr Feng\u2019s fianc\u00e9e, a 33-year-old flight attendant, said she was on a flight back to Singapore from the United States when the accident occurred.<\/p>\n<p>After landing, she saw numerous missed calls and messages informing her of the tragedy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve been together for six years and were going to register our marriage next month.
