After five years, Meta and Ray-Ban are finally bringing the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses to Singapore. Previously, one could only purchase the AI glasses overseas or through third-parties here, and AI features were locked. <\/p>\n

The first is the Oakley Meta Vanguard, which was announced alongside the Meta Display augmented reality smart glasses last year. <\/p>\n With a striking wraparound design, an IP67 rating and a centre-mounted camera, sports enthusiasts will be able to capture stunning footage whether they\u2019re racing down snowy ski slopes or biking down a mountain trail. <\/p>\n Oakley Meta HSTN<\/p>\n Photo: Oakley<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n The other option is the rounded-frame Oakley Meta HSTN, which is meant for less intense sports. <\/p>\n Both glasses sport the same 12MP camera, the ability to shoot videos in 3K and Meta AI. The Vanguard doesn\u2019t support prescription lenses, however, while the HSTN does. <\/p>\n Now, if you\u2019re an existing Ray-Ban Meta glasses owner, you might have resigned yourself to the fate of never being able to use Meta\u2019s AI features on your glasses. The good news is that thanks to this launch (and a software update two weeks back), people with glasses bought overseas will now be able to take advantage of all the features Meta AI is offering.<\/p>\n This includes stuff like Live AI, where you can carry on a conversation without having to continue saying \u201cHey Meta\u201d before each query.
