And also, their daily routine, how they can fit Jeong into their lives,” she says.

When we asked how Mum, veteran actress Lin Meijiao, is taking to the new addition at home, Chantalle tells us that she seems surprisingly on board this time.

Back in 2023, Chantalle wrote on IG how her mum said she should move out if she brought home another pet.

“She is very happy with all the animals now. It is like we are running a farm,” she laughs.

“My mum loves Jeong. If there isn’t a suitable family we’re open to adopting him,” she added.

However, Chantalle admits to us that it is her, not Meijiao, who might have to think twice.

Despite hinting on IG that “if the right home doesn’t come along… I might just keep him myself”, Chantalle reveals that she is still keeping her options open.

“I already have quite a few animals at home, so if the right family comes along for Jeong, it will allow me to continue fostering other animals in the future,” she says.

This includes her cat, Butter whom she found and adopted while filming last year and requires regular medical attention.

“He looked very skinny and malnourished, so we brought him to the vet and went for a biopsy. Thankfully, it wasn’t cancer or anything serious — just severe IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and some kidney failure. So Butter requires quite a bit of attention from us, with IV drips, vitamin B injections, and steroid medication,” she explains.

No part of this story can be reproduced without permission from 8days.sg.
