ISKANDAR PUTERI \u2013 A 31-year-old motorcyclist died in an accident on the Second Link Expressway while on his way to Singapore for work.<\/p>\n
Iskandar Puteri OCPD Assistant Commissioner M. Kumarasan said the victim crashed his motorcycle on the Singapore-bound portion of the expressway at around 2.40pm on April 14. The motorcyclist\u2019s wife, 29, was riding pillion, reported New Straits Times.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cThe traffic was slow-moving due to congestion at the time.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe victim lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into the back of a lorry,\u201d he said in a statement on April 15.<\/p>\n
He said the victim sustained head injuries and died at the scene while his wife, who suffered from injuries to her head and left arm, was sent to Hospital Sultanah Aminah for medical treatment.<\/p>\n
